Volunteers

We have a hero machine.

What is your super power?

Passionate about biking or leading nature hikes. Critter care or animal whisperer. Office work and organizing. Sharing your knowledge and inspiring new nature lovers. We have something for everyone!

How can you become a GCP&T tried and true hero? Here’s how it works:

  1. Walk through the front door of the Greene County Parks & Trails offices.
  2. Tell us what you love to do and when you want to do it.
  3. Walk out the front door.
  4. Show up to do the thing you told us you love to do.

Bada Boom Bada Bing – you’re a hero.

We have over 75 heroes walking around Greene County on any given day – making our parks and trails more beautiful, clean, and safe. They teach and support our children as they learn to love the woods, our rivers, and the many animals with whom we share Greene County. They organize, guide, lead, sweat, crack jokes and laugh, share, and sleep well at night.

We’d love you to join our volunteer team! Your Future-HeroSelf will thank you…and so will your neighbors all across Greene County.
