Lazy Sundays and Summer afternoons.

Fish, hike, picnic, and relax to your heart’s content.

Call your two best friends and tell them you’re getting your families together at Phillips Park. Bring a cooler with sandwiches, potato salad (the homemade recipe), and all the trimmings. Oh, and bring your fishing poles, too.

Set yourselves up at the shelter, head out for a hike into the Beavercreek Wetlands, and when you get back you can fire up the grill for a great meal together.

Early summer mornings are a great time to catch fish, so it’s perfect to bring your son or daughter to Phillips to teach them the basics.
