Education Programs

Is it still education if you’re having a blast?

We think so!

From Summer Camps to guided outings and school programs, your Parks Naturalists and Programmers spend their time finding amazing ways to enjoy the Greene County outdoors.

From exploring our area’s natural world – plants, animals, the beautiful Little Miami River – to our rich, culture heritage, there’s so much to explore and discover.

“I wanted to reach out and say thank you! My husband and I went to the Winter tree workshop and it was very educational. The handout was very helpful. We went home and discovered all the trees in our yard. Thank you so much!”

Naturalist Programs

Register with your favorite group of friends to learn about our area’s natural world – trees, flowers, rock formations or the animals who call Greene County home. We can even customize a program especially for your group!

Here’s a challenge: choose a program to explore with a friend, with your family, or with a group of friends. Discover something new. Focus on the fun you’ll have together – from hands-on learning to the photos you can share with family and friends.

Community Programs

Community groups and businesses – contact us today to discuss your next off-site retreat or other outing. Don’t just create another PowerPoint presentation, bring some donuts, and sit through some awful, droning, sleep-inducing presentation. Do something different!

We’ll work with you to incorporate exploration and discovery of our natural world or cultural heritage into your next meeting. Way fun. Very refreshing. Call us today, before you get pulled into the boring meeting vortex!

Hey, Teachers!

Our team of naturalists have extensive experience in designing educational programs including topics in life and earth sciences, outdoor living and skills, and Greene County heritage. But we want to do more! We challenge you to try to stump us with new ideas related to what’s going on in your classroom – we can develop programs on anything!

We’re trained. Up to date. Up to speed. Able to meet your academic requirements. We love the outdoors and working with teachers and students!
