Join us at the Fairgrounds Recreation Center Park (Large Shelter) to learn about the impact of Alzheimer’s & dementia, the difference between the two, and the stages and risk factors of both. Alzheimer’s is not normal aging. It is a disease of the brain that causes problems with memory, thinking, and behavior.
A representative from the Ohio State University (OSU) Extension Office will present this informative program in reference to understanding Alzheimer’s & dementia and the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s. This program covers typical age-related changes, common warning signs of Alzheimer’s, how to approach someone about memory concerns, early detection, and Alzheimer’s Association resources.
This is a FREE program for those Ages 55 & Up. Picnic tables are available or you are welcome to bring a chair or cushion for your comfort. See you there!
Fairgrounds Recreation Center Park is located at: 210 Fairground Road, Xenia, Ohio, next to the Greene County Fairgrounds and across from the James Ranch Park.
