Homeschool Science Days: Insects/Spiders – No Registration

September 9 at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Bring your homeschool groups outside for hands-on science designed for all ages. Two programs are designed just for homeschoolers. They are called Homeschool Science Days and Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES.

Homeschool Science Days are station-based with various fun, educational activities. These are drop in programs that begin at 10 am and go to noon. Please plan to arrive no later than 11:30 in order to have time to enjoy the activities.

Dress for the weather. This program will be entirely outdoors, rain or shine.   There is a chance that participants may get muddy.

At least one adult must be present with each homeschool group.

Registration is no longer needed for the homeschool educational series.

Insects/Spiders
September is the BEST time to look for insects and spiders! The monarchs are migrating, the praying mantises and garden spiders are full-size and every patch of flowers is buzzing with life! In addition to bug hunting, stations will encourage curiosity through games, crafts and other activities. Arrive no later than 11:30.
