    Volunteers needed to help with the James Ranch Gardens. If you enjoy working in the dirt, planting and watching your hard work bloom, then join us Tuesdays beginning April 3. Volunteers are welcome to take on part of the garden as their own, or assist with the herb, annual and white garden. No prior knowledge is needed.

  2. Selfie Scavenger Hunt- Creekside Reserve

    September 1, 2018, 8:00 AM - September 30, 2018, 8:00 PM @ Creekside Reserve- North side of Interstate 35, Beavercreek (access from Creekside Trail)

    Do you like a challenge? Each month we will send you on a different scavenger hunt at a different location. A group of photos will be available on the Greene County Parks & Trails Facebook Site. Locate each place or item depicted in the photos and take a selfie at each spot. Once you have located everything, post the photos to your own Facebook site and tag Greene County Parks & Trails or you can send them to us at Prizes are awarded for finding all locations. Prizes can be picked up at the Greene County Parks & Trails office at 575 Ledbetter Rd., Xenia Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.

  3. Geocache Night Adventure

    September 28, 2018, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Caesars Ford Park

    Find hidden treasures in the night as you learn about the night creatures of Caesar Ford Park. Bring your GPS units, flashlights (extra batteries) and a sense of adventure as you follow fire tack trails in the dark. Watch out for some of the tricks the night creatures may try to play on you!

  4. Fall Excursion

    September 29, 2018, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Narrows Reserve

    Fall birding can be a challenge, but our naturalists can help you figure out those confusing ducks, shorebirds and warblers. This field trip will visit local reservoirs that tend to be magnets for fall migrants. Please bring a sack lunch and dress for the weather.
