Fishing

Have you ever been fishing?

Try it once, and you'll be hooked!

We have 14 different fishing spots across the county and all of them belong to you. It’s a perfect way to spend a weekend morning with your son or daughter… or with your grandchildren. There are few better opportunities better than fishing to really connect with friends and family – no cell phones or video games, just a fun activity and time to talk and enjoy each other’s company. Several of our locations have canoe/kayak launches as well for some extra fun fishing on the water.

Plan your next outing today. Go ahead, invite your best friend or your family this weekend… and then grab some gear and head out to any of our parks or reserves. Your future self will thank you!

Spring Lakes Park requires Greene County fishing permit, and all other facilities are under state permit regulations. You can find Greene County regulations, permit pricing, and a link to get a permit on the Spring Lakes Park page.
