Home Food Preservation: Selecting, Using, & Preserving Herbs – No Registration

Join us to learn more about popular herbs to grow in Ohio and how to select herbs for cooking or preserving.  This program is being held at the Fairgrounds Recreation Center Park (Large Shelter) where you will learn in a park atmosphere!

A representative from the Ohio State University (OSU) Extension Office Greene County, will present this interesting program at which you will discover a variety of ways to incorporate herbs into your cooking.  In addition, you will explore different methods to preserve herbs for year-round usage.

This is a Free program for Ages 55 & Up.  Picnic tables are available.  Please bring your own chair or cushion for your comfort.

Fairgrounds Recreation Center Park is located at:  210 Fairground Road, Xenia, Ohio – next to the Greene County Fairgrounds.
