Calling all teachers and educators, did you know we have school events?
These are one day opportunities for your class to have first-hand experiences with science and history through self-guided, station based adventures. Our staff and volunteers will have activities set up throughout the park and you and your class can visit their stations and learn more.
The bees are buzzing and the monarchs are migrating. Join us for a day of pollinator appreciation! We’ll play games, make butterfly themed crafts, talk with beekeepers, taste honey, catch butterflies and take part in an international citizen science project studying monarch migration.
This event is recommended for grades K-8 and will be held at Russ Nature Reserve. Your group will need to call 937-562-6440 and schedule your class no later than one week prior to the event.
