Sites are located in beautiful, natural settings and come complete with:

• a picnic shelter
• tables
• grills
• mowed play areas

All are ranger patrolled, quiet, and designed to offer a degree of privacy.

We know your family or group will enjoy using a Greene County Parks shelter or facility, available for reservations. 

Perfect for Weddings & Receptions

Our sites are also perfect for weddings and receptions! 

Meadows, woods, riverbanks and ponds are just a few of the natural settings that could be a part of your special day! 

The waterfalls at Cedar Cliff Falls make for a beautiful and romantic spot for a ceremony!

Gazebos at Peterson Park (part of Indian Mound Reserve) and James Ranch Park are available and would make the perfect backdrop for your wedding.  Click on the picture (above left) of the gazebo for a closer look!

With advance reservations, arrangements can be made to hold your outdoor wedding at a specified park location, any day of the week. 

Availability

Shelter sites are available daily (except Christmas and New Year's Day). 

Rental hours are 8:00 a.m. - Dusk.

Small shelters - $25 (R), $50 (NR)

Medium shelters - $35 (R), $70 (NR)

• Spring Lakes Park
• Massie Creek Park
• Indian Mound Reserve

Large Shelters - $50 (R), $100 (NR)

• Fairgrounds Recreation Center (features electric and a smaller room)
• Twin Towers Park
• Frank Seaman Park 
• Pierce Park

Gazebos

$25 - $35 (R), $50 - $70 (NR)

• James Ranch Park in Xenia
• Peterson Park, which adjoins Indian Mound Reserve in Cedarville

These gazebos make the perfect setting for your wedding or other special event! 

Make Advanced Reservations

By making advanced reservations, your group will be guaranteed use of the site.

To ensure your group's use of a site on the date you want, make reservations now  for up to one year in advance by calling 937-562-6440.  

Refund Policy

No refund for any shelter, gazebo, facility or park area will be given for a cancellation 30 days prior to the rental date.
