WEATHER DAMAGE – Due to extensive damage from severe weather on Monday, May 27, 2019, Russ Nature Reserve on Kemp Road will be closed until further notice. We need to evaluate the damage and begin the clean-up process. We will provide updates as we learn more.

Greene County Parks & Trails manages 2,600 acres of parkland, as well as 62 miles of paved trails, 36 miles of river trails and 12 miles of hiking trails. The park agency also hosts a wide variety of special events, program and athletic events for both local families and visitors to Greene County.

Trails Accommodate Americans With Disabilities

All Greene County trails are built to meet Americans with Disabilities Act standards. Motorized wheelchairs can be used without a permit.  For persons with an impairment that require another form of motorized transportation in order to enjoy the trails, a permit is available below.

New Miami Valley Bike Website

Greene County Parks & Trails with its 62 miles of paved, multi-use trails  is featured in the regional bikeway website recently launched by Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission as a comprehensive site for trails and cycling events. The redesigned and launched website is a partnership between (including GCP&T) the following:
  • Clark County-Springfield Transportation Coordinating Committee
  • City of Troy
  • Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority
  • Miami Conservancy District
  • Trail managing agencies from Clark
  • Greene, Miami and Montgomery counties and convention and visitors bureaus from each of those counties
